A piece of beatifully figured Mexican Ziricote rosewood was the inspiration for this El Dorado™ guitar. I then hand-inlaid a pattern of mother-of-pearl and copper dots, and a mosaic of exotic abalone with strips of ebony. And proceeded with a hand-engraving inspired on the Roman Empire, using coins, lions, and the decimal scale as symbolism.
